Over the last few days in our series, we learned that Christian Creatives are keenly aware of the education, services and support they need to grow their online ministry or business, but most of them have a very limited budget for it. So what influences them in their decision of what and where to make that investment?
I’m glad you asked, because we asked them!
We asked separately for courses vs. products/services, but the answers were very similar. These were the top influences:
- Recommendations from people they know
- The provider specifically targets the Christian market
- Meets a need they already knew they had
- Special pricing
These four were tightly bunched at the top of both questions. And the provide a very specific roadmap for promoting your offerings and writing sales copy: Incentivize people they trust to direct them to you, show them that you care about the same things they care about, help them articulate the need they have and tell how you will meet it, and offer a something that is high value for the price.
The first two are all about relationships with your current and new customers. It’s all about loving on people so they know you care more about them than you do about just growing numbers in your online business or ministry.
PRO TIP
Always take care of your existing customers because they are the engine that drives your growth. Give them a reason to tell their friends how much you helped them, whether that is through an affiliate program, free or discounted products or special recognition within your community.
