Let’s Recap

This post is part of my Write 31 Days Challenge series, based on results of the Online Christian Creative Survey.  Click here to see all posts in the series

We are almost halfway through our series and at a natural breakpoint in the survey questions.  So let’s recap where we have been so far.

The first half of the survey was focused on learned more about the demographics of the Online Christian Creative Community.  We’ve learned that the majority of Online Christian Creatives:

  • Are primarily creating Biblical/inspirational content for other Christians
  • Are using their blogs as part of an overall ministry strategy
  • Have small email lists
  • Have less than 5000 pages views per month
  • Make less than $500 per month income from their online presence
  • Are selling a wide variety of products, courses and services from their website
  • Are struggling with increasing traffic, building their email list, creating an income and balancing family time.

If any of that describes you, I hope you are comforted by feeling “normal”.

The rest of the survey is more about the buying habits of the Online Christian Creative community … how much you plan to spend on education and services over the next year, what you plan to spend it on, what influences you to purchase, what you are looking for in course and service providers and more.  The results from these questions are going to be especially useful if you are one of those  providers.  So hang around with us …. you’ll learn a lot about your target audience!
