Have you found your 2021 Planner yet? If you’re like me, getting your planner set up for the next year can be exciting, but at the same time it can also be daunting. Browsing through endless types of planners can be time-consuming and overwhelming. Luckily, I have a few tips to help make the process easier.

1. Think about how and where you’re going to use your planner.

Does it need to be portable or will you only use it at your desk? Does it need to be in your purse or bag all the time? These things will help you decide if you can handle a bulky planner with pages for every day, or you need something more streamlined, with pages for each week or month.

Do you need a digital component to your planning system so you can easily search, copy and paste? In this case, your paper planner doesn’t have to do it all.

2. Think about how much time you can commit to spending with your planner each day.

Current trends are to have lots of bells and whistles on the planner page …. gratitude statement, top three priorities, habit trackers, meal plan, grocery list. This is handy if you are able to spend time every morning or evening filling all of that out, and if it makes you feel more prepared for the day.

But if you don’t have time for all that, maybe you need something simple with just a place to track your appointments, reminders and to-do list.

3. Pick the most simple planner that meets your most important needs.

Most of us are pre-wired to be discouraged by un-used space. If we have a complicated planner and can’t use all the features, we feel like we aren’t doing enough. It is demotivating and makes us not want to use the planner at all. Keep it simple!

we behaved in the world with simplicity and godly sincerity, not by earthly wisdom but by the grace of God, … 2 Cor. 1:12 (ESV)

Here are our planner recommendations:

The Spaces Planner

This is the perfect planner for the list-making lady. A hard cover for durability, wire-o binding so it lays flat, monthly and weekly spreads. Each weekly spread has spaces to write appointments or reminders for each day of the week, and several different sizes of “spaces” that you can use for lists, notes, priorities …. you decide! Three beautiful designs to choose from. The 8″ x 8″ size makes it hard to carry around all the time, but it looks gorgeous laying on your desk or countertop. Click here for more info.

Abundant Life Planner

A digital planner that replicates the paper planner experience in an electronic format.

This complete life and spiritual growth planner will help you thrive in everyday life as you conquer your to-do list, stay anchored to God’s promises, and finally live the intentional life you crave. Click here for more info.

Passion Planner

If you like to have a place to schedule out your day, as well as plenty of space for adding appointments to a weekly calendar then you will love this planner.

Holy Hustle Planner

Brand new from author Crystal Stine (Holy Hustle, Quieting the Shout of Should), this is the perfect size weekly planner to drop in your purse or bag to have it handy.  And, it’s undated, so you can pick it up and start whenever you want, and if you miss a week or two, no big deal!  Click here for more information.

Spark Success 90-Day Planner

Avoid planning overwhelm with this printable 90-day goal planner with its clean lines and beautiful design. It takes you step by step through the goal setting process to help you prepare, plan and prosper. No more frustration trying to set goals that never get accomplished.

With a 90-day planning cycle you have the flexibility to use the planner in multiple ways, such as for quarterly goal planning, to plan a short-term project, map out a 90-day year, and so much more. And because it’s printable you can use it again and again. Click here for more info.

Golden Coil

This planner offers the ultimate in customization! You can pick the cover, dated or undated pages, several different layouts for monthly, weekly or daily planner pages.
